Hello

I'm Amy!

MS, MA, FNTP, RWP

I believe in healing the body naturally through food, intention, movement and laughter. My journey into nutrition stemmed from my own personal struggles with PCOS symptoms- namely irregular periods, hair loss, unwanted hair growth, cystic acne- and digestive issues.

My Story

As I delved into nutrition, I began to realize just how convoluted and confusing the field is. I began my studies in a traditional collegiate nutrition program and quickly found that my beliefs did not align with the program curriculum.

I was being taught which medications cured which conditions, when I wanted to learn about the root cause of these conditions, and how to reverse them naturally.

Needless to say, I discontinued my studies and later found myself at the Nutritional Therapy Association where I became a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (FNTP) focusing on functional nutrition, which aims to find the root cause of conditions.

After finishing the FNTP certification I began working with clients who suffer with digestion issues, hormonal imbalances and adult acne.  I am very passionate about these conditions as I have personally struggled with them, and I know how difficult they can be to live with. They are also ALL very closely connected!

Since then I have studied hormone health through the Women's Health Institute, and I became certified as a Restorative Wellness Practitioner (RWP) through Restorative Wellness Solutions. As a RWP I am able to perform food sensitivity testing as well as stool analysis on my clients to determine the state of their gut health.

I also hold a masters degree in Nutrition and Human Performance, and another masters degree in Education. I am also a certified yoga teacher!

When I'm not knee deep in all thigs women's health, I can be found playing soccer, trail running, camping, paddle boarding and just breathing in the mountain air.

I'm also an avid fermenter. At any given time you will find kraut, kvass, fermented veggies, eggs, kombucha, yogurt and more in my kitchen. And bonus: fermented foods are amazing for gut health!

I'm so happy you are here, and I look forward to supporting you on your journey to balanced hormones & optimal health!
