Causes of Unwanted Belly Fat

Have you ever unbuttoned your pants when you sit?

Then you forget that they're unbuttoned and you go into a store only to realize, much later, that you're undone!

I have 🙋🏻‍♀️

I always used to unbutton my pants to make my muffin top a little bit more comfortable.

I could never figure out how to get rid of that extra fat around my midsection.

I counted calories and exercised daily, but nothing would give.

Now I know WHY this stubborn belly fat rears it's little head, and I want to share this information with you.

The presence of stubborn belly fat around the midsection is typically the result of 3 hormonal events:

  1. Blood sugar imbalances (your blood sugar is regulated by hormones)

  2. Estrogen imbalance

  3. Heightened stress hormones

And all 3 of these are connected.

Let's talk about each one in a bit more, shall we.

  1. Blood sugar (glucose) spikes insulin (a hormone), which leads to fat storage in the midsection. This happens when there is too much glucose for the body to use.

  2. Estrogen imbalance can slow down the metabolism and lead to excess fat storage in the midsection. This happens when the gut isn't optimized.

  3. Stress is managed by a few hormones, one being cortisol, which stimulates glucose production, triggering fat storage.

Now you're probably thinking...

"All this is nice to know, Amy, but how do I get rid of it?"

I hear you 👂🏻

There is no magic pill that will zap unwanted belly fat, unfortunately...

But balancing your hormones will.

I teach women how to balance their hormones every single day, and I'd love to teach you, too .

Balancing your hormones the right way will be the gift that keeps on giving, and in most cases it takes less than 90 days!
